Reliving Baseball's Past

Looks like I have a fellow traveler in the "real time plus x years" baseball blog world. Bleacher Report is blogging Joltin' Joe's hitting streak. My compliments to them for their wisdom in picking a project that only lasts 56 games as opposed to over 150. Much less work that way (speaking of which, updates on the Chicago series are on the way later today).

But it's a lot of fun diving into those old games, and I wish them luck. What other baseball events should get covered this way? I think some cool choices would be Jackie Robinson's first season, Bob Gibson's 1968 season, or the '51 NL pennant race. Have at it, internet.
